Lancers looked like they could break into the top four after a solid run in the Santa Barbara TOC’s top division, then got routed by Redondo last week

6. El Dorado, 8-3

Beat a solid Duarte team handily then gave a game effort in 65-58 loss to Vista Murrieta, a top-20 team in the state.

7. Fairmont Prep, 9-1

Won the second-tier tournament at Santa Barbara TOC, defeating top-10 contender Edison in the semifinals.

8. JSerra, 10-3

Lions might be hitting their stride after sweeping Gahr Tournament. Average margin of victory was 25.8 points in four games last week.

9. Santa Margarita, 10-3

Wins over Carlsbad and Villa Park, and a loss to Mission San Jose of Fremont last week.

10. Orangewood Academy, 11-1

No games last week, but will get a big test against Windward on Saturday.
