The first titles of league championship week in Orange County aquatics have been earned.

Marina’s Tanner Tenhulzen and Los Alamitos’ Mary Sojin captured diving titles at the Sunset League finals Monday at Los Alamitos.

Tenhulzen, a senior, scored 282.50 points to outdistance junior teammate Cameron Yakura at 265.76. Tenhulzen finished sixth earlier this season at the Marina/Ocean View Invitational.

Sojin scored 455.90 points to outdistance teammate Annie Bliss at 410.20. The sophomores qualified for the CIF-SS Division 1 finals last season, placing 17th and 18th, respectively.

Tenhulzen and Sojin were named Sunset League divers of the year while the Marina boys and Los Alamitos girls claimed the league titles.
