Thompson has 22 receptions for 241 yards and seven touchdowns for the Mustangs this season. He has gained 631 all-purpose yards for the Mustangs and also has three rushing touchdowns. He’s enrolled in AP Calculus, AP Physics, AP Economics and English IV. Thompson is currently the Historian and former President of Lion’s Heart, which is dedicated to organizing, inspiring and empowering teens to serve the community, promotion leadership, teammwork and accountability. All Lion’s Heart members are involved in required community service. As president, he is responsible for setting the agenda and running the monthly meetings. In his role as Historian, he is responsible for documentation, which also involves photographing volunteer events and meetings. He also served as Vice-President. Thompson is also the co-President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter. He’s considering Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Stanford, UCLA and Harvard. Thompson earned second team all-league honors last season.
