Thompson is a Troy Tech student, currently enrolled in Government, Spanish 3, Bible as Literature, Tech Internship and AP Calculus. Thompson is the president of Troy’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes group. He spent his internship last summer with Eastside Christian Church in the children’s and youth ministry departments. Thompson is also a weekly mall group leader for fourth-grade boys. He has been recognized as scholar athlete at Troy for each of his first three years. His college options include Gordon College, Wheaton, Westmont, Biola, Vanguard, Azusa Pacific, Houghton, Calvin College, Colorado Christian and UC Riverside. He plans to major in Biblical Studies. Thompson has a 25-3 record this season, including titles at the Magnolia Varsity Duals, South Hills Varsity Duals and the Troy Varsity Classic.
