Milt Tenno, an assistant footballl coach at Golden West College and teacher at Los Amigos High, has died.

Tenno suffered a stroke a stroke this past weekend. He was taken off of life support Wednesday.

The entire Rustler Athletic Department mourns the loss of Coach Tenno.  His positive attitude and strong ethics positively influenced the lives of hundreds of student-athletes, coaches, and staff,” Golden West athletic director Albert Gasparien said in a statement.

Tenno had coached at Los Amigos and at Bolsa Grande high schools.

A statement from the Tenno family: “The Tenno family so appreciates all of the love, support, and caring you have shown for Milt and for us over the past several days. We know that Milt heard and responded to all of you who visited or sent loving thoughts and prayers his way. In keeping with Milt’s generous and giving nature, he will be donating his organs so that someone else’s prayers for a miracle can be answered.”
