Big moves in Top 10 heading into league play
No. 1 is unanimous. No. 2 is a tie. And the rest of the Orange County Top 10 got shaken up a bit by what was the final weekend of nonleague play for most county teams.
Now we're on to league play, in which ranked teams routinely will face other ranked teams in their fight for a spot in the CIF-Southern Section playoffs.
The big games this week? Try Mater Dei-Servite, Mission Viejo-Tesoro and Edison-Newport Harbor, all of which feature two Top 10 teams facing each other.
And there is plenty of other compelling action around the county.
