Four of the seven CIF-Southern Section football championship games involving Orange County teams will be played on Friday. Three finals with O.C. teams in them will be played Saturday.

The Friday finals for Orange County teams (home teams listed second): Division 2, San Clemente vs. Murrieta Valley, 7:30 p.m.; Division 3, Edison vs. La Mirada, 7:30 p.m.; Division 4, Corona del Mar vs. Sierra Canyon of Chatsworth, 7 p.m.; and Division 8, Burbank vs. Yorba Linda, 7 p.m.

The Saturday finals (home teams listed second): Division 1, St. John Bosco vs. Mater Dei at Angel Stadium, 7:30 p.m.; Division 5, Calabasas vs. Capistrano Valley, 7 p.m.; Division 13, Santa Ana vs. Rancho Christian of Temecula, 7 p.m.

Murrieta Valley, La Mirada, Yorba Linda, Capistrano Valley and Rancho Christian have on-campus stadiums. Sierra Canyon plays home games at Granada Hills High.

It is common that such facilities will be used for CIF-SS football finals. Such sites, though, must acquire the approval of the CIF-SS office so that finals can be played there.

The CIF-SS office will announce site and starting time specifics for all or most games at its annual football championship luncheon Monday at The Grand in Long Beach.

Tickets for the Division 1 game at Angel Stadium are $7 for general admission on the field and terrace levels for students with valid student identification and for children 13 and younger, $15 for adult general admission on the field and terrace levels; and $18 for reserved seating.

Tickets for the other finals, all general admission, are $5 for students and children and $12 for adults.
