Top 10 gets new No. 1 and a new entry
What team moves into the top spot? What team makes its rankings debut?
Make that five No. 1 teams.
You might have noticed that local teams that reach the No. 1 spot of the Orange County football Top 10 haven't been staying there that long this season. We're not saying the spot has the same impact of, well, a certain national magazine's cover (if you believe in jinxes), but No. 1 appears to come with a huge target.
And that target has been hit by opponents who want to show what they can do about the top-ranked team in the county.
So what team just donned the bull's-eye? Check out our slide show to the right to find out.
You'll also find that the group of 10 that had held firm for much of the season (with the order changing pretty regularly) got broken up by a newcomer. Take a look to find out what team crashed the party.
Our slide show will give you records, details and analysis. Of course, you can click here for the no-frills version of the rankings if you'd like.
