Four players from Sonora’s CIF championship boys basketball team signed letters of intent today.
All-Orange County first-team guard Josh Rodriguez, also a CIF player of the year, signed with Pt. Loma; All-County second-team guard Ben Rico, UC San Diego; All-County fifth-team guard Christian Rhodes, Swathmore College (Pa.).
Raiders baseball player Jake Rosander signed with Brown. Sonora’s baseball team is No. 1 in the CIF-Southern Section Division 4 top 10.
Sonora softball player Zoe Juarez signed with Lewis And Clark.
Sonora did the signing day in style — cheerleaders, marching band and The Jungle (Sonora’s excellent student cheering section) were there to make it an event to remember.
