Last season: 6-5 overall, 3-2 league

Scouting report: The Saxons have made the playoffs the past two seasons, but for them to extend that streak they need their returning playmakers to step up in a big way. Senior receiver Edson Velasquez caught 38 passes for 471 yards and 12 touchdowns last season, and he should be one of the focal points offensively. Senior running back Josh Moran, who ran for 594 yards last season, will power the ground game. The Saxons feature senior Andrew Mendoza at quarterback. Senior corner Chris Arellano should be one of the team’s better players on defense.
