Sweet is a senior center for the Tigers basketball team. In the fall, he recorded nine sacks for the Valencia football team and earned Empire League Defensive Player of the Year and first team All-CIF honors. He’s in the process of working toward the IB Diploma. He’s enrolled in Honors English, Honors American History, IB Spanish, IB Chemistry and AP Chemistry 2. Sweet has received AP Scholar with Distinction award. He’s also worked as a coach for the Yorba Linda Youth Advantage Flag Football League and participated in Service Day (cleaning up local high schools) with Yorba Linda Friends Church, Relay for Life and as a group leader for the Yorba Linda Friends Church Vacation Bible School. He’s also involved with the Strategy Club and National Honor Society. Sweet plans on playing football at Pomona College and pursuing a Politics, Philosophy, Ecomonics major with a minor in pre-law.
