Stupin played varsity water polo for two years and spent three seasons on the varsity swim team. He placed sixth at the recent Century League swim finals in the 50-yard free (22.14) and 100 free (48.91). Stupin, a left-handed attacker, also was selected first-team all-league in water polo and led the Comanches with 99 goals. He is taking AP government, AP economics, AP calculus, AP literature and physics honors. He was Canyon’s nominee for an Orange County Youth Sports Foundation scholarship. Stupin is interested in attending UC San Diego or Caltech. He also serves in Canyon’s ambassador program that mentors freshmen.
