Jerime Anderson

Canyon, Senior, Guard, 6-3

Andy Brown

Mater Dei, Jr., Guard, 6-8

Season highlights: Brown was at his best in the Monarchs' biggest games. He had game highs of 18 points and eight rebounds in the 65-53 victory over Archbishop Mitty of San Jose in the state Division II championship game. He was 12 for 15 at the free-throw line in that game. Brown was 9 for 11 at the line when he scored 21 points in Mater Dei's victory over Edison of Fresno in the CIF Southern California Regionals Division II final. He scored 16 in each of Mater Dei's two league victories over Santa Margarita.

Notable: He has a 3.7 grade-point average with an honors-dominated course load at Mater Dei.

Quotable: “Andy was very consistent. This year he played a lot more at the perimeter than he ever has in his life, and he got better out there as the year went on.” – Mater Dei coach Gary McKnight

Klay Thompson

Santa Margarita, Sr., Guard, 6-6

Season highlights: Thompson had a gigantic performance in the state Division III championship game. He scored 37 points and set a state-finals record with seven 3-pointers in the Eagles' 72-55 victory over Sacramento. Thompson was 14 for 22 from the field, 7 for 11 on 3-pointers, and blocked three shots. In the Eagles' 67-39 victory over Bishop Montgomery in the Regionals Division III final, he scored a game-high 21 points with seven rebounds and four blocked shots.

Notable: Thompson signed with Washington State.

David Wear

Mater Dei, Jr., Forward, 6-10

Season highlights: A Trinity League co-player of the year, with Santa Margarita's Klay Thompson. With brother Travis out with an injury, he scored a game-high 22 points in a victory over Santa Margarita, and scored 23 in the second victory over Santa Margarita. When Mater Dei beat Edison of Fresno in the Regionals finals, he scored a game-high 21 points with six rebounds and four assists. And in the state championship victory over Archbishop Mitty of San Jose, Wear scored 14 points with six rebounds.

Notable: He was a Division I-AA player of the year.

Quotable: “When Travis was out for that game against Santa Margarita, David really put on a show, and he's been consistently good all year.” – McKnight

Travis Wear

Mater Dei, Jr., Forward, 6-10

Season highlights: After missing the first game against Santa Margarita because of a calf injury, he came back to score 12 points with a game-high 13 rebounds in a victory at Santa Margarita. He scored 15 with eight rebounds in the I-AA championship game loss to Dominguez of Compton, and had 17 in the Monarchs' victory over Centennial of Bakersfield in the Regionals. In a victory over Capistrano Valley in the I-AA quarterfinals, Wear scored a game-high 18 with four offensive rebounds.

Notable: He and twin David have committed to North Carolina.

Quotable: “Travis really battled through some sickness early in the season and then the injury to have a very, very good year.” – McKnight
