Ex-Servite and Nevada quarterback Cody Fajardo (6-1 1/2, 223) wasn’t drafted but has signed with the Raiders as a free agent.

“They really like me,” he said in a text over the weekend. “It’s almost better to go free agent (than be) drafted in the (seventh round).”

Fajardo planned to celebrate his signing Mondayat Disneyland.

The Raiders’ starters is Derek Carr (Fresno State) and they also signed former Vikings starter Christian Ponder (Florida State) in March after releasing Matt Schaub. They also list Matt McGloin (Penn State) on their roster. McGloin was signed as undrafted free agent in 2013.
