He helped the Spartans spend most of the season as the second-ranked team in the county behind Servite, and they went on to win the Century League title. The Spartans won the CIF-SS South Coast Team Regional, coming in 1-under par with a 359 at Talega Golf Club in San Clemente.
They finished tied for second with Great Oak at the CIF-SS Team Championship. Both teams finished with a 370, but the Spartans finished third on the sixth man. Still, the Spartans advanced to the SCGA So Cal Championship state qualifying tournament for the first time in school history.
