The North recovered a South fumble at the North 10. A few plays later, North quarterback Dylan Osborne (Villa Park) in shotgun formation could not snag a high snap. The ball bounced into the end zone where Jack Bares (Tesoro) recovered it for a South touchdown.
The South went for two. Quarterback Kai Ross (Huntington Beach) threw an incomplete pass.
Ross has been good. A couple of good runs and completions while throwing on the move, left or right, led the South on that drive that ended with the fumble.
The officials have had to separate guys after special teams plays.
