SANTIAGO CAVALIERS
Coach: Brandon Croft (fourth year, 7-23)
Last season: 3-7 overall, 1-4 league
Scouting report: The Cavaliers have had the same record for two consecutive seasons. This year’s team wants to improve the win total, and they have a chance thanks to an offense led by quarterback Ulysses Cruz and running back Emmanuel Prado. Due to a lack of size and depth, the Cavaliers will struggle against the teams in the top half of the league standings. Five of the Cavaliers’ losses a year ago were by nine points or less. This season they have to find ways to win the close games.
