Villa Park senior-to-be quarterback Nick Sipe has committed to Purdue, Spartans football coach Dusan Ancich announced on Twitter on Sunday.
Last season, Sipe (6-4, 200) passed for 2,842 yards, 31 TDs and was intercepted only six times in leading the Spartans to the Southwest Division semifinals.
Sipe’s commitment seems to complete his rapid recruiting rise.
Colorado State was the first to offer on March 1. After offers from Boise State, Harvard and Yale among others, Purdue joined the competition for Sipe earlier this month.
