Do you want your athlete’s name included in the Register’s coverage of Signing Day?
Do you want to send us a photo of an athlete signing or a signing event?
Here is what you need to do to have your information and/or photo included in our coverage:
IMPORTANT NOTE: Football, boys soccer, girls soccer and girls water polo are the only sports that can sign during this period. We will not be publishing photos or names of athletes in other sports. The next signing period for the other sports is in April.
• To report a signing: Send us an email (preps@ocregister) with the name of the athlete who signed.
Please include this information:
— athlete’s first and last name;
— athlete’s current high school;
— athlete’s sport for which he/she signed;
— the college that he/she signed with;
The information received by 5 p.m. Wednesday will be included online and in Thursday’s edition of the Register.
• To send us a photo: Email us a photo (preps@ocregister.com) and we’ll publish it online if it meets certain standards.
Please include this information in your email:
— the athlete’s name, high school, sport and college signed with;
— photos sent in .jpeg format work best for us, but we do accept other formats.
