Dozens of athletes will be signing scholarships throughout Orange County on Wednesday – and OCVarsity.com has you covered.
Wednesday marks the first day that high school seniors may sign athletic scholarships in the following sports: baseball, basketball, golf, lacrosse, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, water polo (girls only) and wrestling.

Big softball signings (3:50 p.m.): Santa Margarita's Amy Letourneau signed with Northwestern, and San Clemente's Kailey McCasland signed with Louisiana State.

Capo Valley softball player signs (2:43 p.m.): Kate Dickman, who hit .360 for Capistrano Valley last season, signed with Utah.

Laguna Hills swimmer signs (2:35 p.m.): Laguna Hills' Courtney Wilde signed her letter of intent to swim for UCLA.

Esperanza outfielder heading south (2:25 p.m.): Esperanza baseball outfielder Ryan Cooper signed with UC San Diego.

El Mo trio signs (2 p.m.): Three El Modena softball players signed letters of intent Wednesday: Haylie Wagner (Michigan), Darin Vanderhoff (Cal Baptist), Melina Martinez (Cal State Bakerfield).
Aztec to San Marcos (1:52 p.m.): Esperanza girls basketball guard Alexandria Alvarado signed with Cal State San Marcos, her father, Efrain Alvarado, confirmed.

Luttrell heading east (1:48 p.m.): Kelsi Luttrell, a shortstop for the Trabuco Hills' softball team, has signed with a Big East school, according to Carlos Arias.

Two hoops players to ASU (1:04 p.m.): Orange Lutheran basketball player James Douglas (6-0, 175), a point guard, and Corona del Mar wing Daniel Cheek (6-4, 180), have signed with Northern Arizona, the university announced.

Three Titans sign (12:30 p.m.): Three Tesoro baseball players have signed letters of intent. Kris Paulino and Connor Spencer both signed with UC Irvine, and Tanner Donnels signed with Loyola Marymount.

Four JSerra baseball players sign (11:52 a.m.): Damian Calhoun reports that four JSerra baseball players have signed letters: Clay Williamson, Austin Hedges, Tyler Krause and Trent Boras.

Caldwell signs (11:50 a.m.): Newport Harbor's Cody Caldwell, an outside hitter on the boys volleyball team, has signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of Loyola-Chicago.

Calvary Chapel wrestling update (11:28 a.m.): Damian Calhoun has an update on the dynamic wrestling duo from Calvary Chapel - Morgan McIntosh and William "Tank" Knowles. One has made a decision; the other hasn't.

Laguna Hills history (11:13 a.m.): Laguna Hills girls lacrosse player Marcy Levatino signed a National Letter of Intent to play at Fresno State. Levatino was the first girls lacrosse player at Laguna Hills recruited to a Division I program.

Aliso Niguel swimmer on the road (11:08 a.m.): Aliso Niguel swimmer Melanie Klaren is expected to sign a National Letter of Intent with Cal later this week. She is currently in Minnesota for a USA Swimming Grand Prix meet, according to Dan Albano.

Injured Eagle commits (10:35 a.m.): Despit missing her senior season due to injury, Rancho Santa Margarita volleyball player Sam Tinsley has signed a letter of intent, Chris Tobolski reports.

Orange Lutheran commit (9:57 a.m.): Orange Lutheran volleyball star Courtney Castle is expected to sign with an ACC school at an 11:15 a.m. signing ceremony, according to Chris Tobolski.

Two swimmers sign letters (9:52 a.m.): Dan Albano reports that Rancho Alamitos swimmer Alex Cisneros and Corona del Mar swimmer John Kim have committed to college programs.

It's official - Wilson a Wildcat (9:51 a.m.): Hallie Wilson, an outfielder for Foothill's softball team, has signed with Arizona, according to Carlos Arias.

Senior hitter to Windy City (9:40 a.m.): A Santa Margarita boys volleyball standout is heading to a Chicago university, according to Chris Tobolski.

Diablo heading up the coast (9:36 a.m.): Chris Tobolski reports that Mission Viejo's Matt Marsh, a 6-foot-6 boys volleyball player, plans to sign with UC Santa Barbara.

Point guard holding out (9:29 a.m.): Brea Olinda girls basketball point guard Alexis Perry will wait until the regular signing period to choose a college, according to Ladycats coach Jeff Sink. The early signing period lasts from Feb. 10-17. After that, basketball players cannot sign letters of intent until April 13, according to the NCAA.

From Charger to Cardinal (8:48 a.m.): Edison girls basketball guard/forward Bonnie Samuelson is expected to sign with Stanford.

Three softball studs (8:10 a.m.): Three big-time O.C. players are committing today: El Toro's Lauren Chamberlain (Oklahoma), Laguna Hills' Kylee Lahners (Washington) and Marina's Kristen Struett (South Carolina).

O.C. ice hockey player commits (8:05 a.m.): No, that's not a typo... Alison Pankowski, a Laguna Hills resident who attends Santa Margarita Catholic High School and the North American Hockey Academy in Stowe, Vt., has committed to play Division I women's ice hockey for Princeton University. She played with the Lady Ducks organization in Anaheim prior to attending prep school in Vermont for her junior and senior years.
