It was a busy, yet productive week for the Servite boys volleyball team. The Friars went 3-0 to advance to Tuesday’s semifinals, with Hayden, a senior outside hitter leading the way. He started the week with 13 kills in a three-set sweep over Long Beach Wilson, followed by 10 kills against Dos Pueblos in the second round. In the quarterfinals, Hayden recorded 34 kills in a four-set victory over San Clemente in the quarterfinals to send the Friars to the semifinals.
