Santa Ana girls wrestling team captured a second consecutive city dual title Thursday going undefeated at Segerstrom HS.
Santa Ana defeated Foothill (60-24), Segerstrom (60-21) and Godinez (52-30).
Godinez finished second with victories over Tustin (57-3) and Segerstrom (51-15). Foothill was third, with victories over Segerstrom (36-27) and Tustin (57-12).
Segerstrom and Tustin finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
Santa Ana coach Tim Byers said the event was “more competitive this year, less forfeits. It shows that girls wrestling is growing here in Orange County.”
