Sechrest is a senior utilityman and defender for the Cougars. He was the Sea View League MVP and holds the school record for goals in a season (147) and all-time (351 as of late September). Sechrest is enrolled in AP Calculus, AP Psychology, AP Spanish, AP Literature, AP American Government and AP Economics. He’s involved in National Honor Society and Habitat for Humanity. He also volunteers as Splashball water polo coach. Sechrest has earned USA Water Polo Academic All-American and AP Scholar honors. He’s also been selected to the Superintendent’s Honor Roll. He has interest from several college and universities, including Harvard, Princeton and Cal. He wants to study economics or statistics. He scored a 35 on his ACT test.
