Well before the first practices in the late-summer heat or the initial games on August nights, Orange County's football players put in the hard work in weight rooms to prepare for what turned out to be an extraordinary season.

It was a season that included two undefeated teams, one state champion, four CIF-SS champions and countless mesmerizing performances from O.C. teams and players.

To celebrate the achievements of the season, we gathered the Orange County Register/OCVarsity.com selections for the 2008 All-County team in the weight room that helped produce the top team in O.C.: Tesoro.
