Coach: Michael Echaves
Last season: 0-10 overall, 0-5 in league
Scouting report: Last season was one to forget for the Grizzlies. They were expected to finish among the top three teams in league but went winless. New coach Michael Echaves was hired after the season to replace Aron Kaye. This year’s team has some inexperience on both sides of the ball. The team’s strength is in a ground attack led by Pablo Sanchez and Hector Duarte. The senior trio of Joel Mejia, Celso Bahena and Brian Aguayo will be counted on to open the holes on the offensive line. Bryan Ibarra will start at quarterback.
Bottom line: The Grizzlies are a work in progress, but could be a bruising group if their ground game gets on track.
