Could San Clemente quarterback Jack Sears follow his predecessor, Sam Darnold, to USC?
That became a more intriguing question Wednesday when the Trojans offered rising junior Sears.
Tritons football coach Jaime Ortiz said Sears received the offer from USC coach Clay Helton during lunch Wednesday.
