Tesoro freshman swimmer Jessica Epps blasted two school records and one South Coast League mark during league prelims Wednesday at Capistrano Valley.
The Mission Viejo Nadadores club swimmer qualified first in the 100-yard butterfly in a league meet and school record 55.41 seconds.
She also qualified first in the 100 free in a school-record 51.28, just off Melanie Klaren's meet record of 51.19 for Aliso Niguel in 2010. Klaren went onto a standout career at Cal.
Tesoro freshman Daniel Kim broke the meet record in the boys fly with a 49.90.
