Gibbons is one of the Lancers team captains and has helped Orange Lutheran advance to the semifinals of CIF-SS Division 1-AA. Her classes include: AP Chemistry, AP Statistics, AP Psychology, AP European History, and AP Language. She has been on the school’s Academic High Honor Roll in each of her high school semesters. She is a member of the California Scholastic Federation and the National Honor Society. Gibbons is an Ignite Team Member at the school and has been affiliated with the National Charity League She has volunteered for organizations such as the American Cancer Society, the Ronald McDonald House, the American Red Cross, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Meals-on-Wheels. Gibbons, who has successfully climbed to the summit of Mt. Whitney and Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa, will play volleyball at Yale next fall.
