Santa Margarita is one of five county teams that will compete in this year’s Ann Kang Invitational in Hawaii.
Santa Margarita became the first county team since 2011 to win the tournament last year.
This year’s tournament begins Thursday and Saturday.
There are two eight-team pools.
This year’s field includes Newport Harbor, Edison, Los Alamitos and Sage Hill. Mira Costa of Manhattan Beach is the other Southern California school competing in the 16-team field.
