She was unguardable in Open Division wins over Brea Olinda and Alemany of Mission Hills last week. The Monarchs star senior scored 33 points against the Ladycats in what was billed the county game of the year, and she followed that up with a 30-point showing in a win over the Warriors in Friday night’s semifinals. Samuelson went 16-for-19 at the line in that victory and has Mater Dei back in the Open Division championship.
