Junior guard Karlie Samuelson made three 3-pointers and finished with 16 points in a 67-31 victory over Newport Harbor. In a rematch of last year's CIF-SS Division 1A finals, Samuelson made three 3-pointers and finished with 23 points to lead Edison, ranked No. 3 in the county and No. 7 in the state by Cal-Hi Sports, to 67-59 victory over Troy, ranked No. 4 in the county and No. 11 in the state.
