Laguna Beach water polo player Mia Salvini, a starter for the undefeated, CIF Division 1 champions this past season, has committed to Cal, Breakers coach Ethan Damato reports.
Salvini is a strong defender who has continued to improve her offensive game.
The junior utility finished last season with 49 goals, 38 assists and 31 steals. She was selected second-team All-CIF Division 1 by coaches.
Salvini is the first reported commitment of an O.C. junior.
