The junior center back’s versatility was on display throughout the Mater Dei Premier Invitational. Rasmussen and the Comanches’ defensive third did not surrender a goal in the five games and finished as the tournament’s runner-up. The Comanches lost to Cathedral Catholic of San Diego on penalty kicks, 4-3, in the final. Rasmussen was credited with an assist in Canyon’s semifinal win over Corona of Santiago.
