JSerra senior right-handed pitcher Collin Quinn will go to Washington State where, according to JSerra coach Brett Kay, Quinn has a guaranteed place on the roster.
Quinn was 12-1 this season with a 0.82 ERA. He was undefeated until a 2-0 loss to Harvard-Westlake in the CIF-Southern Section Division 1 semifinals playoff game.
Quinn throws with a side-arm motion. He has admitted that his delivery probably has not been appreciated by college baseball programs.
Over the past two seasons facing some of the finest competition in the nation, Quinn consistently throws strikes and gets people out. Those fine attributes for a pitcher.
