Spring football: Top returning quarterbacks

Slideshow: Every year a number of quarterbacks make an indelible mark on the high school football season in Orange County. Some, like El Toro's Conner Manning and Santa Margarita's Johnny Stanton heading into 2012, have already been pegged for greatness. But some, like Manning and Stanton heading into 2011, come out of nowhere.

As part of our spring football coverage, we took on the task of ranking the top county quarterbacks. This is not a prediction on who will have the best season in the fall but rather a look at who are the best returning signal callers as of right now. Our list only includes those that have completed their first varsity pass.
