The two-day CIF-SS Girls Individual Championships begin Friday at Eleanor Roosevelt High of Eastvale (7447 Scholar Way, 92880).
Qualifying took place last week and now the top wrestlers from the Southern Section will compete to move on to the CIF State Tournament, Feb. 24-25 at Visalia Convention Center.
Wrestling begins Friday at 11 a.m. and resumes Saturday at 10 a.m. The finals are tentatively scheduled for 2 p.m.
Last year, 21 O.C. wrestlers advanced to the state tournament.
The top eight wrestlers at each weight will move on.
