Corona del Mar has named former Santa Margarita coach Kevin Ricks as its girls water polo coach, Sea Kings athletic director Don Grable said in an e-mail Wednesday afternoon.
Ricks guided Santa Margarita’s girls to the CIF-SS Division 2 title in 2013, his final season with the Eagles. He has been coaching girls age-group water polo with the Newport Foundation.
At Corona del Mar, Ricks replaces Ross Sinclair, who departed for the boys water polo position at Newport Harbor.
