Isaac Douglass scored 19 points and Josh Miller added 18 points and five assists as Yorba Linda defeated San Juan Hills, 73-56, in a pool-play game in the Charlie Wilkens Memorial Tournament on Tuesday at Westminster High.

The Mustangs (7-1) are ranked eighth in the county, and their only loss has been to No. 3 Orange Lutheran.

It didn’t take long for Yorba Linda to take control of the game with their hot shooting. The Mustangs led 21-13 at the end of the first quarter and 36-21 at halftime.

San Juan Hills (1-5) went into the fourth quarter trailing by 23 points.

Connor Peterson had 24 points and 10 rebounds for San Juan Hills.

No. 9 Servite 73, El Modena 35: Pearson Parker scored 21 points as the Friars (5-2) built a large lead, 54-21, by halftime of the pool-play game in the North Orange County Championships at Servite.

San Clemente 66, Irvine 29: Blake Birmingham made three 3-pointers and finished with 15 points as the Tritons (5-2) dominated their pool-play game in the Irvine World News/Gary Raya Classic at Irvine.

Ethan Le had 18 points for Irvine (2-5), which trailed 44-10 at halftime.

Edison 73, Valencia 52: The Chargers (6-1) left the Tigers (1-5) behind by outscoring them 15-1 in the second quarter of the IWN/Gary Raya Classic at Irvine. Randall Walker scored 23 points for the Chargers, and Nate Matthews added 19 points and three 3-pointers.
