The senior pulled out a come-from-behind, marathon victory over Northwood’s Chloe Pham in the Round of 16 of CIF Individuals last week. Elyse Pham lost the first set 5-7 before winning the next two 6-3, 6-4 to reach the quarterfinals. The match lasted three hours and 40 minutes. “She was so tired,” Cypress coach Joe Paul said.
