The Grizzlies junior finished second in Division 2 race at the CIF-SS Divisional Finals Saturday. His time of 14:57 was the second fastest among all county runners among in all five divisions. Penaloza also made school history, as he became the first individual runner in school history to advance to the CIF state meet.
