Caroline Cantlay, Rosary, Jr.
She tied for first in the Trinity League Championship, but finished second after a three-hole playoff. She qualified for the WSCGA Southern State Regional by shooting a 5-over-par 75 at Western Hills Country Club during the CIF-SS Individual Championship. She posted a 75 at Goose Creek Golf Course at the WSCGA tournament. She medaled four times and had a 37.8 nine-hole stroke average. She posted a score in the 70s in all three of her individual tournaments, including a 75 at the CIF-SS Southern Individual at Dad Miller Golf Course.
Felicia Chang, Troy, Sr.
She carded an even-par 72 at River Ridge Golf Club in Oxnard to tie for fourth at the CIF-SS Northern Individual Regional. She qualified for the WSCGA Southern Regional by shooting a 6-over-par 76 at Western Hills Country Club during the CIF-SS Individual Championship. She finished with a 2-over-par 73 in the WSCGA tournament at Goose Creek Golf Club.
Madie Chou, Foothill, Sr.
She qualified for the WSCGA Southern Regional for the fourth season in a row by carding a 1-under-par 69 at Western Hills Country Club to finish fourth in the CIF-SS Individual championship. She finished with a 1-over-par 72 in the WSCGA Southern Regional to advance to her first CIF State Championship. She finished seventh at state after posting a 3-over-par 74 at Poppy Hills Golf Course in Pebble Beach. She tied for fourth in the CIF-SS Northern Individual Regional, shooting an even-par 72 at River Ridge Golf Club in Oxnard. She carded an even-par 71 at Jurupa Hills Golf Club to help the Knights finish fourth in the CIF-SS Eastern Team Regional.
Irene Kim, Kennedy, Fr.
She posted a score in the 70s in all three of her postseason tournaments, finishing with a 74.0 stroke average. She opened with an even-par 71 at Dad Miller Golf Course to tie for ninth at the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional. After that, she fired a 76 at Western Hills Country Club during the CIF-SS Individual Regional to become one of the 13 players to advance to the CIF State championship qualifying tournament. She carded a 4-over-par 75 at the WSCGA Southern State Regional at Goose Creek Golf Club.
Cameron Lee, Beckman, Jr.
She posted a 3-under-par 33 on the front nine at Tustin Ranch Golf Course in the season finale to lower her scoring average to 34 (2-under-par) and earn medalist in the match that clinched the Pacific Coast League championship for the Patriots. She posted a 5-under-par 31 at Strawberry Farms Golf Course in a victory against Irvine. She tied for ninth in the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional, shooting an even-par 71 at Dad Miller Golf Course. She qualified for the WSCGA Southern State Regional at Goose Creek Golf Course by posting a 77 at Western Hills Country Club.
Beth Lillie, Troy, Jr.
She qualified for the USGA U.S. Women’s Open, where she posted rounds of 77 and 75. She led the Warriors at the CIF-SS Eastern Team Regional, shooting a 1-over-par 72 at Jurupa Hills Country Club. She posted a 2-over-par 74 at River Ridge Golf Club in Oxnard to tie for 10th at the CIF-SS Northern Individual Regional. She tied for 14th at the CIF-SS Individual Championship with a 5-over-par 75 at Western Hills Country Club to qualify for the WSCGA Southern Regional where she posted a 3-over-par 74.
Amy Matsuoka, Corona del Mar, Sr.
She medaled or co-medaled in the Sea Kings’ first nine matches with a cumulative score of 20-under par. During that span, she never finished worse than even-par. She posted a 2-under-par 72 at Lakewood Country Club to help the Sea Kings finish second in the CIF-SS Southern Team Regional. She finished third in the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional by shooting a 2-under-par 69 at Dad Miller Golf Course. She finished seventh in the CIF-SS Individual Championship, carding a 2-over-par 72 at Western Hills Country Club. Finished second at the WSCGA Southern Regional, firing a 3-under-par 68 at Goose Creek Golf Course to qualify for the CIF State Championship, where she finished with tied for 16th with a 77.
Joan Soewondo, Dana Hills, Jr.
She qualified for the WSCGA Southern Regional for the second season in a row by finishing eighth in the CIF-SS Individual Championship with a 3-over-par 73. She opened the postseason by shooting a 1-over-par 72 at the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional at Dad Miller Golf Course. She was the South Coast League MVP, and ended the season with a 36.4 scoring average, an almost two-stroke improvement over 2014
Ellen Takada, University, Sr.
She won the Long Beach Wilson Bruin Invitational, shooting a 6-under-par 68 at Recreation Park Golf Course. She was the only player in the field to post a score in the 60s. She posted an even-par 71 at Dad Miller Golf Course to tie for ninth in the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional. She qualified for the CIF State Championship by shooting a 1-under-par 71 at Goose Creek Golf Course to finish in the top five in the WSCGA Southern Regional. She tied for eighth in the state tournament, carding a 4-over-par 75 at Poppy Hills Golf Course in Pebble Beach. She posted a 5-over-par 75 in the CIF-SS Individual Championship at Western Hills Golf Course to finish inside the top 15.
Yuki Yoshihara, Woodbridge, Fr.
She qualified for the CIF State Championship by shooting a 1-over-par 72 at Goose Creek Golf Course during the WSCGA Southern Regional. She finished tied for sixth in the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional, posting a 1-under-par 70 at Dad Miller Golf Course. She posted a 5-over-par 75 in the CIF-SS Individual Championship at Western Hills Golf Course to finish inside the top 15. She shot a 7-over-par 78 at the state championship at Poppy Hills Golf Course in Pebble Beach to tie for 19th.
