The Register and OCVarsity will be publishing their All-County fall sports in the coming weeks. This week, we release the All-County girls golf team, and we’ll release the teams for boys water polo, boys and girls cross country and girls volleyball on Saturday, Dec. 20. The All-County football team will be announced on Saturday, Dec. 27.

Troy, Senior

Amy Lee
Brea Olinda, Senior
She is graduating early from Brea Olinda so that she can play for USC in the spring. Lee finished second in the CIF-SS Northern Individual Regional with a 1-under-par 71 at River Ridge Golf Course. She finished third in the Crestview League finals with a 3-under-par 139. Lee posted a 3-over-par 75 at Arrowhead Country Club during the WSCGA So Cal Championships.
Lilia Vu
Fountain Valley, Senior
Vu was one of two county players to qualify for the CIF State Championship tournament. She won the WSCGA So Cal Championship on a card-off after shooting a 4-under-par 68 at Arrowhead Country Club in San Bernardino. Vu won the Sunset League championship, shooting a 4-under-par 66 during the final round at Costa Mesa Country Club. She signed with UCLA.
Madie Chou
Foothill, Junior
Chou won the Crestview League championship in a playoff after shooting an 8-under-par 134 in the 36-hole tournament. She posted an even-par 72 at River Ridge Golf Course to tie for fourth in the CIF-SS Northern Individual Regional. She was the medalist of the CIF-SS Northern Team Regional. Chou ted for seventh in the CIF-SS Individual Championship with an even-par 72.
Jakeishya Le
Mater Dei, Senior
She won the Trinity League championship by seven strokes with a 9-under-par 132. Le had a stretch in which she was 19-under par in four 18-hole rounds. That stretch included a 6-under 68 in the Ayala Fall Classic, which she won. She tied for seventh in the CIF-SS Individual Championship with an even-par 72.
Alyaa Abdulghany
Corona del Mar, Sophomore
She won the CIF-SS Individual Championship, shooting a 3-under-par 69 at Western Hills Country Club in Chino Hills. Abdulghany was the only player in the tournament to break 70. She was the medalist at the CIF-SS Southern Team Regional as she posted a 3-under-par 67. She won the Pacific Coast League championship by two strokes. Abdulghany finished third in the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional, shooting a 4-under-par 67.
Brittany Park
Valencia, Sophomore
She shot an even-par 72 at Arrowhead Country Club during the WSCGA So Cal Championship. Park posted a 73.7 scoring average during the CIF-SS postseason tournaments. She had an even-par 71 at Costa Mesa Country Club to help the Tigers finish third in the Southern Team Regional. She posted a 37.7 nine-hole scoring average in home matches on the par-37 Alta Vista Country Club front nine. Park medaled seven times.
Joan Soewondo
Dana Hills, Sophomore
She posted a 2-over-par 74 during the WSCGA So Cal Championship. She posted a 2-over-par 73 during the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional. Soewondo tied for second in the South Coast League championships and posted a 5-over-par 77 in the CIF-SS Individual Championship, giving her a 74.6 postseason scoring average.
Brooke Graebe
Yorba Linda, senior
She lost the Crestview League championship in a playoff after tying for first with an 8-under-par 134. She shot an even-par 72 to tie for fourth at the CIF-SS Northern Individual Regional. Graebe finished with a 2-over-par 74 at Western Hills Country Club during the CIF-SS Individual Championship to qualify for the WSCGA So Cal Championship for the third year in a row.
Kristin Chung
Fairmont Prep, Senior
She shot an even-par 72 at the WSCGA So Cal Championship and earned a spot in a sudden-death playoff to try to get the final qualifying spot for the state championship. Chung tied for 11th in the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional, firing a even-par 71. She finished with a 4-over-par 76 during the CIF-SS Individual Championship to advance to the WSCGA So Cal Championships. She won the Academy League championship in a playoff.
The Register’s All-County teams were selected using a combination of reporter observations and coaches’ input.
