Calvary Chapel’s lower weight duo of Elijah Palacio and Luciano Arroyo had strong weekends at the Zinkin Classic.
Palacio finished second at 120 pounds, dropping a 5-4 decision to Matthew Olguin of Buchanan in the finals.
At 126 pounds, Arroyo finished second, losing 10-8 to Ethan Leake of Buchanan.
Palacio is ranked 10th in the state and Arroyo is ranked seventh.
Calvary Chapel was also awarded the Small School Team Championship award.
Steven Kroesen (Laguna Hills) finished fourth at 120 and Anthony Le (Laguna Hills) was sixth at 126.
