CONNOLLY’S COMMENTS: You have to appreciate the unselfishness Woodbridge plays with. Senior Sierra Vaglica is an extremely savvy floor general who can create for herself and others, while playing with great energy on the opposite end of the floor. . . . If Lauren Baffo and Anjali Ghadi keep performing at a high rate offensively, Woodbridge is dangerous as the No. 3 seed. . . . Don’t sleep on the winner of the Edison-Foothill game. One of the best county-vs.-county matchups in the first round, both schools come from competitive leagues and appear to be evenly matched. . . . A Woodbridge vs. Edison/Foothill quarterfinal is very possible.
