Outlook:
The Hawks are hoping for another magical season after winning the CIF-Southern Division title. Laguna Hills loses a number of talented players, including quarterback Robert Refsnyder, who passed for 917 yards and rushed for 552 yards. Junior Pat Tereschuk will replace Refsnyder. Coach Bruce Ingalls believes the team’s strengths are the offensive and defensive lines and a veteran group at linebacker. Ingalls said the players at the skill positions lack varsity experience. Laguna Hills has three returning All-CIF players — receiver Ryan Ur, defensive end Michael McCullough and strong safety Matt Martindale — which should make the Hawks tough to beat.
