He pitched a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts for the Chargers in their 11-0 victory over Santiago of Corona in a CIF-Southern Section Division 1 first-round playoff game Friday. Owens, a senior left-hander who signed with Miami and is projected as a first-round draft choice, struck out the final seven batters he faced to improve to 12-0.
