Corona del Mar’s girls water polo team pushed CIF-SS Division 1 rival San Marcos into overtime Friday, but the Sea Kings dropped the nonleague game, 10-9.

Senior Hailey Gellert scored with 1:05 left in overtime to lift visiting San Marcos, ranked third in Division 1. Gellert finished with a game-high four goals.

Corona del Mar (11-6), ranked sixth in Division 1, was paced by three goals from Jaleh Moaddeli and two apiece by Bridgett Storm and Chloe Harbilas.

Moaddeli scored twice in the fourth to help force overtime.

In other nonleague games:

Segerstrom 6, Santa Ana Valley 4: The Jaguars bounced back from a loss to Ocean View to defeat the visiting Falcons.

Santa Margarita 10, Riverside Poly 7: Sophia Baia, Vicky Ochoa and Ava Perkins each scored twice for the host Eagles (10-10).

Rosary 10, Villa Park 4: Bayley Weber scored four goals and Stephanie Gaston made 13 saves to lead the Royals (11-13) at Servite.
