Three Orange County schools – Huntington Beach, Dana Hills and Orange Lutheran – were among the 16 teams selected to compete in the USA Baseball National High School Invitational, officials announced Thursday.
Huntington Beach is the the tournament’s defending champion.
The sixth annual event runs from March 29 to April 1 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C.
The NHSI is a single-elimination event, with each team guaranteed to play four games. The schedule will be released Feb. 21.
