JSerra beat Orange Lutheran, 5-2, Tuesday at Hart Park in Orange in the first of three Trinity League games they will play against each other this week.

JSerra is in first place in the Trinity League with a 6-2 league record. Orange Lutheran is in second place at 5-2. In the Orange County top 10, JSerra is No. 1 and Orange Lutheran is No. 2. 

Lyle Lin drove in two runs for the Lions, who are 18-6 overall. JSerra’s Colin Townsend pitched a complete game. It was JSerra coach Brett Kay’s 200th career win.

The series resumes Wednesday with a 6 p.m. game at JSerra.

Orange Lutheran (16-4 overall) is the home team for Friday’s game at 7 p.m. at Hart Park.
