He scored 29 points in the Aztecs’ Crestview League win at Villa Park and scored 27 in a nonleague win over El Modena. Okpala made four 3-pointers in the El Modena game and two in the Villa Park game. A 6-foot-6 junior, Okpala is averaging 24 points and eight rebounds a game. UC Irvine has offered him a scholarship.
